Parameters
To prevent piracy of electronic products, Atmel Corporation has launched the AT88SC0104C/CA~25616C/CA series of encryption chips. These chips are equipped with functions such as protocol authentication and encrypted data transmission. During use, critical data or programs can be stored in the encryption chips, which greatly enhances product security.
This reader-programmer features reading and writing of the configuration area, reading and writing of the data area, analog authentication (only available to users who have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with Atmel Corporation), configuration file management, and offline programming (i.e., programming and issuing devices independently without a PC connection). Notably, even when the fuses are blown (with FUSES=#00H), the complete configuration file of the device can be read back as long as the correct secret keys and passwords (Gc and PW) are set.
This reader-programmer is suitable for the development and mass production of the entire AT88SCXXXX series of chips (namely AT88SC0104C~25616C and AT88SC0104CA~25616CA). It can be used as a single programmer or for simultaneous programming of multiple chips, supporting both single-person and multi-person operation.
